Which colours should the Norwegian fjords have?

Colours of the Fjords is under way. 20 artists, designers, architects and photographers arrives on Monday 21st of June in Stalheim and Ulvik. They intend to find an answer to this question.

The County Governor of Hordaland and the Landscape Parks, in collaboration with Bergen National Academy of the Arts, invited participants to a workshop in the villages of Stalheim and Ulvik. The theme for next week’s work is some chosen buildings that make up the first impression for people who visits these villages. These buildings are not always aesthetically beautiful, rather marked by earlier perceptions of functional design. Maybe tourists’ looking through their car windows decides whether to stop or not when seeing such buildings. Visitors have their own understanding of attraction.

How can we influence this decisive first impression? Well, we invite for a workshop! We give participants from many different countries insight in the compounds of the villages, and ask them to tell us about their impressions. They will also suggest changes that would make the villages more attractive.

The Cat

The cat is sitting

Talk a bit with the cat.
He is the most sensitive one here.
